Sturdy braided rope coated with beautiful Yak leather. Reinforced with contrasting Pull-up leather. All hooks and rings are sewn on by hand. The double seam and hand-waxed threads, from our AKAH manual saddlers are extremely durable - in comparison to a machine seam. Yak Leather is tree times tougher than cowhide, yet as smooth as moose leather. It is tanned in Finland by our provider but bought directly from nomadic shepherds in Mongolia. There are no middlemen to ensure those families the best prices.
