Canicom GPS | GPS tracking device
Bundle consisting of a transmitter collar and a handheld receiver with display.

The system can work on 8 different channels. Up to 20 transmitting collars can be trained per receiver unit. Thanks to the latest digital technology, there can be significantly more than 20 transmitters in one area/precinct. The devices of different dog handlers do not overlap!
For the European market, 6 channels in the frequency range 169.4 to 169.475 mhz (registration-free) can be selected. For the French market there are two additional frequencies (155.6 and 162.25 MHz) with a higher transmission power, which can only be used there and then also have to be registered.
The technically possible range (depending on terrain) is 15 km. We carry out range tests for all tracking products we sell. On our very difficult test route (valley), the Canicom GPS showed by far the best transmission range compared to the other devices we sell!
The Canicom GPS also has a remote trainer function. A vibration or a power signal can be emitted via the handheld device (alternatively via the smartphone app). The current signal can only be emitted if the contacts (included) are screwed onto the collar. Since the current pulse is triggered with a slight delay, we consider this function to be a minor additional benefit. The Canicom GPS cannot replace a modern remote trainer but can only support the protection of the dog.
