The Dokken's Dead Fowl was patented by professional hunting dog trainer Tom Dokken, whose hunting dog kennel is one of the largest in the United States. These dummies were tested on hundreds of hunting dogs with great success because they enable practical training.
The Dead Fowl Dummy's body is made from a soft, natural-touch plastic material. The freely moving head and stands are made from a very hard plastic. This design means that the dog prefers to hold the dummy on its body and avoids the head and stand for holding on. It also counteracts shaking, as the freely hanging hard head hits the dog's muzzle uncomfortably when shaking.

Able to swim, even if they are injured by dog teeth.
